Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is really like few others. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 40 monarchs.
It is both the largest and oldest inhabited castle in Europe. The Queen spent most of her private weekends at the Castle and is also where she has been buried.
The Castle is at the top of a steep hill, and the visitor route covers long distances.
Upon departure from Windsor, we return to London to your hotel or other agreed location.
Unfortunately St George’s Chapel is closed on Sundays as it is used for worship.
