Stonehenge and Windsor Castle
A private transfer and trip to visit Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Upon departing your hotel we will head west towards Stonehenge, an UNESCO World Heritage site. The stone circle has been on this site for over 4, 500 years and is one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe.
Once we depart Stonehenge we will return to the lovely town of Windsor.
Windsor Castle has been home to royalty for more than 900 years. It is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.
Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle.
The Castle is at the top of a steep hill, and the visitor route covers long distances.
Upon departure from Windsor, we return to London to your hotel or other agreed location.
Unfortunately St George’s Chapel is closed on Sundays as it is used for worship.
